Re: Post Wedding Crafts
I've been making onsies for my new nephews
and to use as decorations for their showers.
adorable!!
I did coasters I found on pinterest. I mod podged scrapbook paper to tiles and sprayed them with sealer. Then I glued coarkboard to the bottom.

OMG I love those coasters. If we already didn't have enough, I'd totally make some.
That rawr reminds me of this:
We had a hard time finding some when we moved in and the ones we found were expensive so we didn't have that many. My family got me some Texas ones I loved but my cat chewed up half of them
I also decided not to have my bouquet preserved and made a Christmas ornament instead! I'm so crafty these days haha

My cousin made some for me this past Christmas and they didn't hold up very well
The first time water touched them the pictures looked terrible. So, don't be skimpy with that sealer!
I did like 5 coats haha. I used them for the first time last night and they held up well!

Ok good! I was so disappointed when they didn't hold up. I loved how she did them.
Yes, it reminds me of that too! I just didn't have enough room for all of it. I barely had enough room for the rawr. Stinkin little onsies are too small
Before the wedding we had stripped our black kitchen table and chairs and painted the table white and the chairs a pale blue.
I love them, but I didn't add enough gloss top coat, especially to the table, so I really want to do that sometime soon. It's really starting to bug me.

I will be working on a HM scrapbook like midge. I also need to finish up a cross stitch for my MIL. As long as I get it done by Christmas, I will be doing great. Just like the one I started for H. Oh, I also need to find fabric to make some square pillow cases.
I love crocheting! It's so calming. I haven't done it in years, definitely since before DH, and I never really make anything, I just like to do it.
I pin a lot of crafts but I don't really do any. My best friend's husband is about to deploy though and she's coming home, so I plan to distract her with a lot of crafting.
Midge-your Day Zero link inspired me to make one too! It's still a work in progress but I love that website! DH kept trying to put things we've already done on there so that we can cross them off and I had to keep reminding him that that's not the point!
I put up a dry erase board in our room to make lists on because of all the trips we were making to New Jersey. Because we mostly work opposite shifts, the board quickly became a place to leave little love notes.
It is incredibly tacky to have it hanging in the bedroom. Then I came across this. Not a huge project to take on, but it will be a big improvement for our wall!
(Also, H sees the "Office" humor in it, so he really liked it)
I seen this beautiful frame on etsy that I will be making for my dad for Christmas.

Sorry, if the picture doesn't work, please click on the link. I can't seem to post pictures
Cheater! lol I put things on there that I knew for sure were going to happen, like the wedding, moving out of my parents house, etc. So I semi-cheated?
It's been fun though. I really can't wait for choir to start back up so I can tell the director I want a solo at some point. I'm nervous just thinking about it and they'll all probably faint due to shock that I'm finally willing to do one. They've been trying to get me to sing a solo ever since I started several years ago. Playing flute accompaniment has given me the courage to try it out.
I made these a few years ago for H for Christmas but I used his Alma Mater. They turned out awesome. I used modge podge but then put a layer of sealer over the top and they have held up great. I also made a fancy design one for my mom.
H wanted me to make them for all our friends last year (they all went to the same college) but I had too much going on with the wedding. Maybe this year.
Tiffany, I love those! (I love The Office, too!)
We have a big white bookshelf in our kitchen right now (scavenged from outside our apartment's dumpster!) and I'd really like to paint the inside of it, like this:
