Happy for my mom
So as most of you know my dad passed away just before Christmas. Long before that happened they'd talked of putting their house up for sale and moving to a different city, where my mom was originally from, and they were gonna retire there. Well after my dad passed my mom decided to move that plan up about 5 years and wanted to move this summer. She listed her house just after the wedding and it was taking a long time to sell. Well yesterday she lowered her price a bit and low and behold, today she got an offer! And she accepted! I'm so happy for her.
Right after the wedding, like when hubby and I were on our honeymoon, she put an offer in on a condo where she wanted to move and it was accepted, conditional on her house sale. Those people had been getting antsy and she had till next Friday to sell or they were going to turn down her offer. So it's all working out! I'm soooo happy for her. She's excited and much less stressed.
She thought her house would sell faster so she'd quit her job already, so she was getting quite panicked about what she was going to do if her house didn't sell. But now it's all working out. Good possession date, good price. It's great!
