Wearing my wedding dress on our 3rd anniversary?

Hey everyone, I wanted to get your thoughts.  I haven't worn my dress since the big day, and I thought it might be sweet to surprise DH by putting it on for our third wedding anniversary coming up.  Question is, would it be tacky to wear it to a romantic dinner together in a nice restaurant?  I could save it for private eyes only, but it might make for a fun night if we attracted some giggles and congratulatory remarks.  What do you think?  Be honest!  :)

Re: Wearing my wedding dress on our 3rd anniversary?

  • 1. Who are you?

    2. Welcome?

    3. Depending on what your dress looks like, yes it will be crazy to wear to a romantic dinner.

  •  And remember, only the really happy couples get professional pictures taken for their third anniversary so that they can display their affection to friends and *sometimes* family on facebook :)

  • Wow...  Is everyone a troll on these boards, or did I just luck out tonight?  I feel sorry for you two.  -_-

No need to feel sorry for us.  We have nice, real, lives.  Ya know, like real husbands, real jobs, real everything!

Awe, how sweet! I'll let my son and husband know too, I'm sure they'll appreciate the thought, I really am insufferable.

In the meantime, don't forget to book your 3rd annual honeymoon right away! I hear Alaska is beautiful this time of year.

  • Dear God... You have a kid?  Ick!  I change my mind; he's the one to pity.

Oh right! I forgot that some are unable to see the huge picture that pops up beneath everything that I post, my bad! Now here is a real mindfuck, I'm going to have another one! Time to call CPS!

Actaully Laura and Cmo are pretty awesome.

We've had some trolls recently, and normally silly questions are an indicator of one. I'm playing nice here, but for all I know you are just throwing MUD to be a pain.

Being honest, your question is kinda dumb. Would you seriously want to wear a wedding dress to dinner? Not even newly weds do that. If you want to put it on again in the privacy of your own home, go for it. But I side eye the public thing,
