Recomend your baby monitor with video
We're finally getting around to buying a video monitor since Andy is just starting in his own room for the first time ever tonight. We're doing a "Montessori room" meaning his bed is on the floor and the room is totally baby proofed so he can play, but we want to see what he's doing if we need to so video with night vision is a must. Any suggestions?

We just bought the Motorola MBP 36 and set it up yesterday and played with it, since we don't have an outside baby yet. I'm disappointed though, while the quality is great, and I love the pan, tilt, and zoom features, mine is defective. The parent unit will not charge, so I'm not sure if I just got one with a bum AC adapter, or if it's something internal on the parent unit. I'm going to call Motorola tomorrow morning when they open and have them send me a new one.
The night vision was pretty cool though, and like I said, I love the almost 360 degree movement of the camera.

ETA: I talked to Motorola this morning and they are sending a replacement right away. Great customer service and very helpful! I really do like the monitor and thinks it's worth looking into. It's also expandable up to 4 camera, which was one of the selling points for us, and I love the pan, tilt, and zoom features. The video is crystal clear too.
We have one from Samsung they I really like. It has great night vision. It is supposed to display the room temp too but mine isn't accurate (this wasn't a big deal for us).

We have this one and we absolutely LOVE it! It pans side to side and up and down. We can see his entire room in it. The display is very clear in the daytime and at night. You can zoom in with it too. I love the two way talk feature also. I would highly recommend it! I don't know how I made it 16 months without it!
It's the Summer Infant Baby Touch. I'm assuming it is the same one the ladies are talking about, but Summer Infant makes several so I'm not 100% sure.
