Our weekend was nice! We went to PA to celebrate H's grandmother's 75th birthday. It was a surprise party and I got the best picture of her arriving! Besides that, our weekend was spent in the car driving. I am trying to get a good start to the work week so I can take most of Friday off. I got a cute voice mail message on Saturday from my flower girl saying she wanted to talk and to find out if I can go to Busch Gardens on Friday when they are visiting. She said that she is getting tall enough for the "big kid" rides and wants to ride roller coasters with me.

I have so much to do and I'm just sitting on my computer. I have to at least get some phone calls made today, but I hate talking on the phone. I have to pack up my desk and books too.
I work Tuesday-Thursday. Tuesday night H's family (his parents, siblings and their families) is coming over for pizza so we can see them all before we move. Wednesday night we're going out with my co-workers. We originally reserved the moving truck for Friday morning but I want to try to switch it to Thursday night now that H got Friday completely off.
This week is going to fly by and I don't like it...
Weekend was awesome! DH and I flew back to IL on Friday to attend 2 weddings on Saturday!! It was crazy and amazing and I cried a ton! It's just so wonderful to see 2 friends that I have known since I was a baby so extremely happy!! I'm feeling the effects this morning that's for sure!
Nothing too big going on this week, some more travel late in the week for work.
My MOH/ bff came in to town to help he brother move. So we got to hang out with her late saterday night. It was great. Her bro moved into a house with a ton of stuff still in it. So he gave me a butterfly window light catcher and a hanging plant.
Sunday I felt like a train wreck and napped half the day and still felt like sh*t when I woke up.
Today I feel better but still pretty crappy. I didn't get a chance to tidy up the clutter like I wanted and I am still sick so H stayed home to help me out and take care of me. Maids come today to give the place a really good clean. Then next week the carpet people come.

athlete-Good luck with your rain! We just had a big thunderstorm come thru here a little bit ago with crazy load thunder! Good luck editing your photos.
And yep 2 weddings K's was at 2pm, M's was at 4pm. Then we did apps at M's reception at 5ish then dinner for K's reception at 6:30, hung out there until 9:30 or so then drove 1/2 hour back to M's reception and danced/partied until midnight! It was crazy but I got to catch up with a lot of friends that I haven't seen in a super long time!
erollis-hope you are feeling better soon, I bet once everything is all super clean and the new carpet is in you'll be better!!
I took my nursing boards on Friday morning and hibernated all weekend until the results were available yesterday morning. (I was certain I passed for like an hour and then went into the "I failed, I'm gonna have to take this crap again" mode.) Thankfully I passed. I honestly could've not studied and still passed, as the questions I had were majority stuff I'd never heard of.
I started my new job as a surgery nurse this morning. So, I had my first case of the Mondays in a long, long time. I'm looking forward to seeing more surgeries this week (saw 2 knee replacements this morning and vowed to go on a diet ASAP). This weekend my cousin and her bf are coming in town, so I can't wait for Friday!
We had a rather relaxing weekend. The son and I made some decorations for his upcoming Birthday party (camping theme) and we finally celebrated Father's Day with my dad. He's been working in Canada and hasn't been able to get back home as often.
This week we're planning a trip to the Japenese Steakhouse (its been too long), some more party preparation for my son's party, and a meeting with the lady to discuss further details about the paralegal program I'll soon be starting. Nothing too exciting, but hey...some weeks are like that!
