Photographer issues!
So, our photographer has actually been pretty good up until recently. We got married May 27th. Our photographer had all our pictures up on her website gallery June 19. Then on July 6 I emailed her and asked about our disc of all the pictures. She said she hasn't been able to mail it out because the post office isn't within walking distance. Unfortunately, she still has not mailed out or disc. I emailed her Friday to ask if she mailed it out and she never responded. I am not sure if she is just too busy to respond or intentionally ignoring me. Do you guys have any suggestions of what to do? I am not sure what my next move should be if she doesn't get back to me. Just stressing me out. I just want my freaking pictures.

Are you kidding me?!?! Thats the stupidest excuse I've ever heard! If I were you, I'd be pissed.
Do you have the contract you signed with your photog so that if she doesn't send out the disc, then you have something in writing that says that she was supposed to do this?
Can you call her? I'd email her again maybe towards the middle of the week. She may have had a wedding or something going on this weekend and maybe thats why she didn't get back to you on Friday.

Well, I would give her the benefit of the doubt if you e-mailed her on Friday. Maybe she was out of town for the weekend or shooting another wedding. Although not being within walking distance of the Post Office is a stupid excuse!
FWIW, we were married 5/12 and although our online gallery was up with all our edited photos hardly a week after, I still haven't received our DVD. I think she's planning on sending it with a little movie she edited for us, and then our wedding albums so I assume that is what is taking longer.
So don't worry too much...I want my photos too, and I was married 2 weeks before you! =]
I agree that's the lamest excuse ever!
If it makes you feel any better, we were married 5/19 and our photog. hasn't even posted all of our edited pictures online yet! These things take time.
I would say if you owe her any more money to wait and send it once you've received the disc.
In the mean time just keep reminding her. She might be busy, summer can be a really busy time for weddings. At least that's our photog's excuse!
