How long did your pictures take?

We were married June 30th and have yet to get our pictures. I know they do take awhile, I'm just curious about what most people experienced. My photographer put up a sneak peak the day after, and on top of seeing everyone's pictures here I'm just so anxious! I texted my photographer to ask when they'd be done but she hasn't answered - that was a week ago. She's not the best at returning my calls so I'm wondering if it's b!tchy of me to write on her business' facebook page to ask about them? What do you guys think, am I just being too anxious?

I think you are just being anxious- I got married June 8th and didn't get pictures until July 14th.

I don't think it's being bitchy to write a post. I think it's what costumers should do.

I got married June 16th and I am still waiting for pictures. My photog's wife said it takes 6-8 weeks, so I should get them in the next three weeks (sooner than later, hopefully!). I really want to email/call/text/ show up at their house, but I'm holding back. I knew ahead of time my photog would take longer than normal, but it's worth it!

Do you normally communicate via text? I'd try another text, or perhaps an email. If you go on facebook, I wouldn't bi!tch, just say something like "I'm so excited and anxious to see your beautiful pictures. I can't wait until they're here. Any chance you have an estimate time frame?"

Since it hasn't even been a month yet I'd wait. Did they give you an estimate? Mine said 4 weeks and we got them in 3 1/2. I was anxious but knew when to expect them and I know she does a fabulous job so I didn't bug her at all

My wedding was on June 16th. It took about 3 1/2 for our photographer to edit our photos and get them put online for us to proof/pick out the ones we want. Now we are waiting to recieve the CD as well as the actual prints.

Thanks everyone! DH's family keeps bugging me about it, as if I can develop them myself. I just wanted to make sure that this wait was normal since they make me feel like it isn't.

I got married on June 23rd and should be receiving my photo album with select prints, cd with edited and raw images to print out anywhere, and slide show with music within the next two weeks.

My photographer has posted some of the images on her facebook and many of my guests took their own photos and tagged me in them on facebook as well.

I got married the 30th too. My photographer says it takes her 4-5 weeks, so I'm hoping for the first week in August, and will be pleasantly surprised if she's done sooner!

We got married on June 9th and received all of our pictures on July 17th, probably only that early because our photographer was a friend of ours and offered to bring them to the apartment late one night. I think he normally waits until he receives the book back from the printers (2-3 more weeks) before giving the disks of pictures to his customers.

My wedding was June 8th, we got the disc of images (but no sneak peaks or anything) on July 3rd. But we didn't need prints, albums, etc.

I think 4 weeks is the average time, but I would send an email asking for an ETA.

Married June 22. Photographer just emailed me today with some sneak peaks. He'll release them all after we send in our payment.

We were married June 24th and we got our disks on the July 18th. I think 3 weeks is pretty typical. I'm like you, I couldn't wait!

we were married June 15th and don't have ours yet either. Our photographer didn't even put up sneak peeks until last week! I'm hoping to have them this week though, which is later than her contract says =/

I got married on the 30th and I received my pro pictures on Saturday. He had them done a lot quicker than I expected.

We got married and had all of our pictures by June 18th. She put sneak peeks up less than a week after the wedding on facebook. She was pretty speedy!

I have only gotten 2 teaser emails and I got married on June 16. He had 3 weddings before mine. I know he is really busy so I am trying to be really patient but it isn't easy.
