I guess it starts now :-/
H and I went away for the weekend and came home to a box of baby formula in the mail. Seriously, am I going to start getting baby stuff now? To make matters worse, FIL brought our mail in for us while we were gone. He claims that he didn't jump to any conclusions.
I remember one of my friends telling me that she randomly started receiving Parenting magazine shortly after her wedding. I'm thinking that the stores, we register at, sell our info to these companies and they start sending stuff after we hit the six month mark.
Anybody else received any unsolicited baby stuff?

It stinks that the companies that we give business to by registering with them go and sell your information to make more money.
Hope for your sake it's just a marketing ploy, and not a sign!
Crazy!
That reminds me of this article:

Have your shopping habits changed after the wedding? lol
It is a little bit creepy how much retailers know about us. No baby stuff here, yet! I wonder if they will once I start buying pre-natal vitamins though....

Do you know who it was from? That's totally weird.
I would've been peeved with an EPT too.
This. Every. Stinking. Time. I touch my cousin's baby. "When are you gonna have one of your own?" UGH!
My Blog
Man, I'm so glad no one is bugging us yet! Sorry you girls are going through all the comments and stuff!
We've been asked casually when we might be having kids, but no one is continuing to ask or pressure us, so I'm thankful for that.

I made the mistake of lurking on the Bump a few months before our wedding and started to get baby-related emails shortly thereafter. Thankfully no mail yet though!
My younger sis is pg so I get the questions ALL the darn time. Along with the "oh...I thought you guys would be the first ones to have kids..." comments as well. It's lovely. NOT.

I used to get diapers sent to me in the mail ALL the time. Even as far back as when I was still living with my parents. O_o I have no idea why.
My friends decorated our going away car at the wedding and my mom put a pregnancy test in there as a joke. Oddly enough, that's the test I used when I found out I was pregnant... I thought it was rigged. Turns out not...
YUP! At our biweekly get togethers, two groups have have kids and every time one of them tells H and myself, "Hey, you gotta catch up." SO annoying!
But we haven't seen any baby stuff in the mail yet.

I have not received any baby stuff in the mail. I didn't even know that that was a thing. Very strange. Why the hell would you need formula if you didn't already have a baby? I'm sure the food bank would love to have it as a donation.
@Fashion Nope, nothing's changed since the wedding. That particularly day was the first time in about two years that I had stepped into a Babies 'R Us. The only thing I can think of is that it was somehow tied to where we were registered or my online couponing had something to do with it. However, baby stuff is not something I show any interest in online.
@Joanna Holy crap! I would've been mortified if I got a pregnancy test for Christmas. Although, I probably would've made some equally rude remark to whomever gave it to me.
@Koda I had the same thought about the food bank. I've asked friends if they knew of anyone who needed the formula. Since no one they knew wants it, it will be going to our local food bank. It's actually good timing, since I'll be cleaning out our cabinets in preparation of a diet change!
I've been gone, and just started going through all the things I missed. I actually got formula in the mail too, only they sent it addressed to me at my mother's house. That hasn't even been my address for 3 years so I have no idea how it happened. Luckily my mom just said "You're going to die laughing when you see what you got in our mail." instead of jumping to conclusions.
We also took ours to the food bank.
