Jon and Kate plus 8 new house
I think this is going to be on their episode tonight but the morning rush radio station discussed it this morning and here is pics of their new house.

It is probably the previous owner's stuff, not theirs.
Ditto... that house annoys me for that very reason.
I don?t know where it is located and I would think those are the pics from the MLS listing when the house was for sale so it isn?t decorated to their tastes or have their furniture (the dining table). I am not sure where it is located but would like to know if it is still in central PA.
I think it is in NC. I heard that a while back.
I was under the impression they were moving to Berks County. That's where they went to church. I'm pretty sure they are still in this region of the state.
Ohhh ok. I thought that they had it built. I thought that's what they were planning to do.
Uggghhh! Jon and Kate really annoy me. It appalls me that they can exploit their children to this degree. If no one had ever contacted them about doing the show...they would have never been able to afford all the trips and material things they have. Sometimes you will hear them say that they are thankful but not often enough. I don't get why you can't take your kids to the zoo without the special "behind-the-scenes-first-to-see-it" tour...like they did at Legoland.
I admit I watch the show because the kids crack me up (Aaden says the funniest things!) but Kate's voice is like nails down the chalkboard. It is sometimes painfully obvious that she has more affection for the girls than the boys...she is always talking about how yucky boys are. Does she think about how her beautiful boys are going to feel when they are older and they see this? My heart broke for Aaden when she went on and on about how his feet are stinky.
Although I think it is funny...I saw on GMA this morning a family with two sets of twins and a set of sextuplets...take that Jon and Kate!
Wow, in way I think it is kind of sad all of the perks they are getting because of the fame of their family. I'm sure the trips and the house are great but I wouldn't want to be that much in the lime light, especially with young children, but it's their life.
I still watch the show though, just in the different point of view. I thought they were moving to NC too because of the difference in hours that children can work on camera.
I guess we'll have to wait until the episode to see what happens.
Exactly what I meant by my post...must be nice to be able to afford giant houses just by having your lives taped.
I understand fully what PuppyMommy is getting out but I'm sorry they're getting paid very well and getting lots of free perks (and demanding other perks) to have their life filmed. They have a whole crew of people helping them with the kids. They've burned bridges with the church community who generously built the addition onto their original house that Jon whined about having to pay tax on.
The rumor mill is saying their new house cost 1.12 million (or there abouts) and they didn't pay a cent for it (TLC paid) because it's in NC closer to the TLC production company and that even the appliances and other things were given to them from sponsor companies...not sure how much of that is true though although I think it's believeable
I feel bad for the kids that they won't know a normal life without tv cameras around all the time.
I guess when it comes to J&K+8, I just HEAR so many things. I hear stuff through websites and on these boards. I just choose not to listen or believe any of it unless I know the info is factual. Plus, those sites out there are only part of the story.
I don't know them personally, so I guess you are right.
The new house is in Berks County in Wilson School District. My girlfriend lives in the area and told me all about it. So they didnt move down south like they have been leading on on the show.
I also used to really love the show but now I get annoyed and disgusted. I think that at least Jon should still work like the rest of us.
I do believe that they are in Berks County as well. What is weird is that I met John and the twins when the sextuplets were being born (my grandmother was in Hershey Med after a car accident). I remember oohing and aaahing in the elevator because the twins were so adorable!! Who knew that they would become this worldly known!!
Even though they drive me nuts now, I must say that house is very nice. I think their master bedroom is bigger than my entire downstairs.
I just wish they'd stop doing that damn show and let their poor kids live a normal life.
