San Francisco Hotel Rec's

Hello Ladies!

A friend of mine and I are thinking about taking our husbands to a 49ers game for Christmas and would need a hotel for about 2 nights. Keep in mind this would also be around New Year's Eve as well.

Any recommendations?

TIA! :)

We've stayed at both Kensington Park and Stanford Court Rennaissance and liked them both.  This is my suggestion for your search:

Start with Hotels.com using your criteria.

Find your top choices on Trip Advisor and narrow from there.

I would assume that most hotels that week will be much more pricey than usual.

  • I stayed at the Chancellor Hotel several years ago. It's located in Union Square and was much more affordable than other places I looked at in the city.
  • In April, we stayed at Kabuki in Japantown - a modern hotel in a neat and quiet neighborhood. Enjoyed a bath and massage at the nearby Kabuki Spa, too :)

  • We really liked the Sheraton Fisherman's Wharf, nice renovated hotel and great location, affordable too:
