QOTD 7/23 - Name Changes
Hey ladies!
For those changing names, where are you at in this process? Done? Haven't started?
I'm going to the Social Security Office to get this started today!

I have my name changed on all of my debit/credit cards, SS card, driver's license, e-mail, Facebook, checks, Disney Movie Club, that might be it.
I still need to change my name on my student loans, credit union for my car loan, car title, apartment lease(?), other things I'm probably forgetting.
I need to get back on the ball.
I have done SS, RMV, our bank accounts, all my credit cards, the title and registration on the car, voter registration automatically with rmv and maybe a few other small things.
I have a few big ones left like my student loans and passport but otherwise I'm just going piece by piece making sure to get the most important ones done and then working on the not so crucial ones.

I'm most of the way there. Have my new SS card, new DL is in the mail, sent my passport renewal application in, name is changed at work and I will be getting my new ID badge today, and H has changed my name on my Amex card.
Still need to do:
Bank
Student loans
Other accounts online
almost done! I have a few random credit cards that I barely use that need to be changed and I still have to call my mortgage company. I also need to change my name on the deed to my house but I don't even know where to start with that.

I just got my marriage license back last week (lady at the town was an idiot) so I need to decide if I want to mail out my SS card info or take off a half day and go to the office myself. After that's done I can do my license, and everything else.
So basically I'm nowhere, my nameplate at work was changed though! However my email and everything isn't changed yet since they need my new SS card to do that.... Ugh.
