How are you keeping you cats cool?
So we have a rental which has no air conditioning:(
How can I keep my kittens cool (besides a fan, because it really seems to dry out their eyes.. and they are not smart enough to "look away" from the wind
We would by a window air unit, but the windows don't fit anything we have looked at. Plus it's Montana... and no one here has air conditioning...
Re: How are you keeping you cats cool?
hmm I don't know if I have any good ideas besides the fan. Maybe make it less direct? angle it from the ceiling or something?
and because I love MT where abouts are you?

ok good! I was hoping I was doing all I could for them
@ Aggiebug:
I am in the southwest region
Anaconda is the town... Do you visit Montana for vaca of have family here?
Thats awesome! It is much better in the snow!! And I like how you put "big". I am originally from Illinois, an hour south of Chicago, so the whord city has a whole new meaning to me. I live in a small town in Montana, but I love Missoula and Bozeman. Much bigger, more places to eat/shop. But the Pintler that runs through Anaconda cannot be beat! If/when you visit again you need to go on a drive on the Pintler, its gorgeous!! And get a whop chop at the Freeway Bar.... best sandwhich in town (Butte that is)! Or if you go to Missoula go to the Hou Hut!! Super freaking cool place to eat for lunch!
Haha yeah "big" is definitely relative up there
Most of my time has been spent in Billing or semi near by as that was where my grandma lived so everyone came there. But I think there is talk of a family reunion on Flathead Lake sometime in the future I haven't been there in forever! There is (maybe was?) an awesome bakery in Butte that I loved to visit on our trips through.
And I have a ton of memories snowmobiling Cooke City
I bet Anaconda is a huge change from Illinois! How did you end up there? Most people don't move to MT especially the little towns!
Ya no joke. After being in Illinois so long surrounded by corn, we wanted a change. And H got a job with an over the phone interview that would help further his career so we did it. One week after the wedding we were packed and loaded for the long drive. So we are now here
And Ancaonda because we literally googled towns near my husband's job and it said how awesome a town it was haha. ya. over exaggeraters!! No, really it isn't too bad just really tiny and if you go anywhere in anything except your pj's your overdressed. so BIG culture shock. I can't wait to see a Shell gas station again or an applebees, or olive garden, or steak and shake or a good mexian restaurant. I was told the ONLY olive garden in the entire state is in BIllings, so for that I dislike you
I would rather live in MIssoula. More food,shopping...people in general. It is nice being constanly surrounded by mountains though
