I need a book to read.

Hey Ladies!

I recently just read "my heart's desire" which is a christian lifestyle book about relationships and stuff, etc. i'm one chapter away from being done with this book and have really enjoyed it. I was wondering if any of you ladies who are christian know or have read other good books on the topic of marriage/ love/ relationships?

I just want to enjoy some more reading before school starts again!

Re: I need a book to read.

  • Did you ever read Fireproof- or do the journal in it ( I cant' remember what the name is)
    • 5 Love Languages is amazing. You and your H need to read it.
    • I found this list on Goodreads called "Must-Read Marriage Books" but the only one I've read is the one I already mentioned.
    • The Love Dare is what she was thinking of, I think.
    • There's a mens/women's version somehow related to Fireproof (I think) that I cannot think of or find the name of online to save my life. It's sitting on my bookshelf at home waiting to be read so hopefully I'll remember to look for you later.

  • For Women Only is a great book. I am working through it now.

There is also For Men Only, which your H needs to read, too.

There is also a work book to go along with them, I think that's called For Couple's Only.

  • Figured it out! It's called The Resolution for Women (there's also one for men). It's from the movie Courageous, not Fireproof but it's made by the same people. If you haven't watched it, you should and don't forget to grab a box of Kleenex.

Anyway, I just started reading it today and it already sounds awesome. It is more about just you but it will no doubt improve your relationships with everyone, including your husband.
