I'm excited for the storms that are coming this way this afternoon. We need them badly.

I think there is a wide spread issue of funky-ness going on. SS was funky this weekend and I was funky last week.
Yay rain!!! I wouldn't mind a good summer storm right now.
I have a book to pick up at the library but I already have two that I need to finish reading. This whole work things is really cutting into my reading schedule.
The Olympics start Friday. I can't wait I love the Olympics.
This is the last week of summer school for SS. He will have August off and then school starts again.
I can't believe it will be August next week. The summer has flown by.
Also, my garden has been fun but dang it has been a lot of work for not a whole lot. Starting to think about putting in perennial, medicinal herbs next year instead of doing so many vegetables.
Bummed we will miss the storms. We are headed to Maryland this afternoon. I hope the storms hold out until our flight takes off at 5:30.
My kids didn't go to bed until midnight last night. They both just woke up. I was able to get everything done this morning that I couldn't get done last night. I just hope that they are cooperative today.

Glad it's Wednesday, but wish it was Friday! I have so many books on my "to read" list! Is anyone reading anything good right now? Or seen any good movies lately?

I read the Poisonwood Bible on my last trip - awesome. Also watched The Hunger Games. Now I want to read the 2nd & 3rd books from The Hunger Games.
That sounds like a fun trip. I would love a surprise like that.
