Did you have a first dance? Yes. It was awkward because we meant for the wedding party to sit down at their table after the entrance, but they didn't and so they were standing in a semi-circle around us while we danced. They were about 3ft away so it was weird.

DH tried to make a case for GNR November Rain. That didn't happen.
Our first dance song was Don't Happen Twice by Kenny Chesney. It's been our song since we started dating.

Yes - we did My First My Last My Everything by Barry White.
I mostly picked it, DH would have picked some mopey Indigo Girls song or some weird 70's song. I wanted something fast and fun, but romantic.
I wish I had the guts for this too. Not necessarily Michael Jackson, but something choreographed and fun. DH never would have gone for it in a million years.

Did you and SO pick out the song together? Or just you? We were looking for a song, and heard this one at brunch a week before our wedding. I decided it was perfect and he agreed. Neither of us had heard it before, even though it was in a GAP commercial, so we had no idea what it was. He figured out what it was and surprised me with the CD. A friend did our music on her iPod, so we had to get her what we wanted.
