So I have recently come back and started looking through all the boards, and much to my pleasant surprise, there was a board for January 2012 weddings! DH and I were married on Friday January 13, 2012, and life is just fantastic. Everyone always asks me "how's married life?" and all I can say is that it's the easiest thing (so far) since I married my best friend.
I'm excited to read through all these boards and talk with those who have been married for a similar amount of time, since I'm sure you all are going through similar experiences, with ILs, BOTB, etc. I look forward to posting more

Re: First timer
Married the love of my life on 1-21-12. Our princess arrived on 5-28-13.
I lurked around on the Knot, but never posted. Thanks for the welcome!!!! I'm glad I wasn't flamed for not being here sooner
haha
We should do a weekly GTKY post! I love answering questions and seeing other people's answers. This site has a ton of questions listed. We could answer a few each week.
Thanks! I've been jumping around a bit, but there wasn't a set place that I felt comfortable. I'd love a place where the same people come over and over, a place to call home
Thanks for all the welcomes! I'm excited to get to know you all!
Reading other boards definitely helps! I tried to open up by posting about how babies are on my mind, even though I know it's not time yet. And one person posted I shouldn't be spending my time on boards then if it's not time. However, I feel like boards should be supportive because not everything we feel is reasonable, and I'm not afraid to show my unreasonableness haha. But reading through here, I like this board already!
