GOT A JOB OFFER!!
YAY!
For those who don't know, I've been unemployed for the past few months (I worked as a Copywriter prior to being laid off because of a company downsize). Well, yesterday (the day after my DH started HIS new job) I was offered a job as a News Writer for a news/content agency in the city near me!
I am SOOOOOOOO excited! DH and I have struggled with our careers for a while. Writing jobs are few and far between, so I spent a lot of time working in retail management. DH is working on his MBA and works in the wine industry, but hasn't been able to get out of retail even though he has MBA classes and a BA. A few weeks ago, a wine distributorship sought him out and offered him a junior sales and marketing position with their company, and now I have a job!! So for the first time in our marriage, neither of us work in retail and we are FINALLY going to be able to spend weekends and evenings together!! I can't even describe what a big weight has been lifted off my shoulders!! *sigh*

The job is in the city (we live in the city and with my last job I had to commute to the 'burbs), so that's really exciting!
