fil is awesome!
background: so hubby and i live with fil. this is very typical in asian families as i understand but were not staying permanently... Anyways... i have a hard time with food right now as fil's cousin does the shopping. (after i lost my job were really struggling to make ends meet once again ) So of course she buys things she likes to cook.
Don't get me wrong I LOVE her cooking! the problem is its very ethnic and sometimes i just don't know what is on the plate in front of me and when i open the fridge and cant recognize anything in it it makes it very hard for me to make something for myself. I do have a little stash of "american" food for myself but it is dwindling. One of the things that i eat alot of is bananas. i ate the last one yesterday.
I went out to the kitchen to get some breakfast and apparently my fil went shopping and got me 5 pounds of bananas and "refilled" my little supply of american food. My daddy is awesome!
(btw this is probably more awesome to me because i never had a dad before and so maybe dads just do this kind of stuff.... idk)
