Well-Being Wednesday ~ 7/25/12
Ok ladies, let's do this! Whether you are trying to start a new hobby, carve out more "me" time, lose weight, run a marathon, or just try to stop at only half the container of Ben & Jerry's at night - let's post about what we've done in the past week for our well-being, how we are trying to achieve our goals, etc. Get some support and give some at the same time!
Wife, mom, attorney, blogger, runner - trying to learn to love all the good things in life!!

Re: Well-Being Wednesday ~ 7/25/12
I've managed to gain back 5 lbs thanks to vacation, no exercise, blah blah blah. I've been much better the past 2 days, and got the official ok to do yoga today from my physical therapist. I've been doing stationary boxing, push ups, and lots of ab work in the meantime the past 2 days too. So, I'm getting there! This inability to exercise is KILLING me. I'm still down over 8 lbs since I got serious about all of this, so that's an upside!
Took the past 2 nights off from everything and just sat on the couch with a cup of tea, a book or magazine, and chilled the hell out. I needed that. Work is about to go nuts til Aug 9 so I am just taking some deep breaths before the chaos!

I made it to prenatal yoga last night, for the second week in a row. I did it last time I was pregnant, too, but that time it was more about the physical activity and trying to get my round ligament pain under control. This time, it feels much more mental. I don't really get "me" time anymore, and this hour and 15 minutes out of the house is a really nice reset.
We are leaving on vacation tomorrow morning, and while it stresses DH out to no end that we have a lot of stuff to do around the house before LO2 arrives, I need this break. We used to travel a lot, and now we don't. At all. I miss it, and I need this trip away so I don't feel so "stuck" at home.
Let's not discuss it.
Seriously though, having tons of breakdowns lately with the thought of going back to work in about 6 weeks. I don't want to leave my baby
