Moms of 3 year olds

I know there are a few of you. What time does kiddo go to bed? What time do they get up? Do they ever nap? Little boys sleeping has taken a major U turn and I need some parameters of what's normal. TIA!

Re: Moms of 3 year olds

  • Mine probably isn't all that normal, but Connor goes to bed about 9, wakes up at 6:30 and still has a 2 hour nap at daycare.  That's been the schedule for quite a while now.
  • M will be 3 next week and she goes to bed around 8 and wakes up around 7. She naps for about an hour every other day or so. V at her age though, was going to bed around 6:30, waking around 8, and taking about a 2 hour nap every day.

  • M goes to bed at 8 but that doesn't mean she actually sleeps. She finally goes to sleep around 9:30 and wakes up about 7. She does take a nap at daycare for about an hour.

  • Oh and I agree with Ami, he is in bed around 8 but sometimes isn't asleep until 10.
  • Bed around 9:30-10, awake around 8, 2.5-3 hour nap every afternoon.  He turned four in May.

  • JJ's out by 930pm and up by 730am during the week. He takes a 2-hour nap at daycare most days. I keep the same routine during weekends, but it's very rare he'll nap at home nowadays.

  • Yeah, Connor almost never naps on weekends unless we have a long car ride or something.
  • This post is making me extra thankful for nap time.

I miss when M would take 2 to 3 hour naps. She doesn't nap at home, but she will take about an hour to an hour and half nap at daycare. Now we just have "quiet time" which means "Mommy needs a timeout. Here watch this movie."

Lol at "quiet time"---I can see myself doing that in the near future.  I can't imagine 2-3 hr naps, G is more of a 1-1.5 hour nap kind of guy ;).
