Throw out unattractive underwear?
I have a bunch of underwear that are extremely unattractive, yet I can't get myself to throw them away. I always wear them when I know my husband isn't going to see me in them. I would be mortified if by mistake saw me in them! I feel extreme ugly in them, and hate them. I feel guilty throwing them away though because even though they are ugly, they do their job! And underwear isn't something you can donate. What a waste! Any suggestions on how to get over this and throw them away? I know most of you are gonna tell me to just toss then and get over it, but for me, it's hard!

We all have those not so attractive, yet comfy undies. H usually gives me the eye when he sees me wearing them. I've told him if he wants to see me in something nicer, he can buy them, which he has. Regardless, I still wear them and don't care what he says, but I still put the really nice ones on often.
If it bothers you so much that you aren't comfortable with your hubby seeing you in them, then either get over it or toss them.
Are you talking about somethingthat just isn't flattering or closer to granny panties?
I toss undies when they no longer fit like they should, lace gets ripped somehow and very old (tho my def of old may be different).
I still wear unattractive, full coverage panties. I call them my comfy undies and save them for when Aunt Flo comes to visit. H doesn't care what undies I am wearing but he has his favorites and I have mine.
Toss them if you really can't stand stand him seeing you in them that much. It would not be worth the stress of the thought of him seeing you in them.

Hahah this! I throw out underwear if it has holes in it...thats about it. Otherwise no matter how old or ugly, they become 'that time of month' underwear.
I probably wouldn't wear them on date night or anything, but H married me, ugly underwear and all! I kind of feel like if he can accept all my other quirks (and I his), he can handle ugly underwear!

I call these 'period panties'.
My husband heard me complaining to my sister that they need to make red panties with a red gusset instead of white and he made it a point to find some and buy me 20 pairs! No more Rorschach panties!
But if they get worn or the elastic goes or the fit gets bad (wrinkly loose or cut in) they are gone.
Are they unattractive by design, or unattractive because they are old, stained, etc?
I wouldn't worry too much about it. It doesn't take much space to store underwear, so if you feel that badly about tossing them out, I'd just keep them.
I throw mine out when they get holes in them or the elastic wears out.
I'm like you, I like to make sure I get good use out of everything I buy but DO it just DO it. =D Throw those nasty, ugly, suckers away. It will make you feel sexier, and if by chance your husband sees your laundry he won't wonder why you have your moms underwear in your laundry...
