Hey Dad, I'm a grown-up now.
Dear Dad,
In case you haven't noticed, I'm a grown woman now. I'm not 5 years old, not for 20 years now. If you recall, you gave me away to my husband two months ago. So please, stop asking my husband to "quit kissing your daughter" when I'm saying bye to him. And I know I'm in charge of house-sitting for a day, and I have permission from Mom to have my husband stay with me there (by the way, he would be anyway, because he's my husband), so don't suggest that we sleep in separate beds. For that, we will f*ck on the kitchen table.
Behave yourself.
P.S. Not really, just venting :-)
Re: Hey Dad, I'm a grown-up now.
Yeah, it's been old for 7 years now...
This reminds me of my aunt... my mom's brother's sister... she wouldn't let her adult father (80 years old) sleep in the same bed when he visited with his fiancee (he is a widower). She also never (until recently) let her adult daughters sleep in the same room as their boyfriends when they visit.
The most crazy part is that she was definitely "doing it" with my uncle as my mom repeatedly called her a hypocrite (behind her back of course) because they used to live with my parents before any of them had kids.
Parents are seriously crazy sometimes.
