Any plans for the weekend?

Tomorrow is my mom's birthday, my sister is flying out tonight to surprise my mom. We are going to get up way to early tomorrow and head to California Adventure (my sister hasn't been since Cars Land opnened), then have lunch at our favorite mexican restraunt. After that we are going to swing by the house so my sister can see it (and possibly meet up with the loan office since he wants to see us again... GLUP). To finish the day off we are going to head to a casino.

I'm already tired just thinking about how busy Saturday will be, hopefully my mom enjoys her day.

I'm tired after seeing your schedule. But it does sound like ton's of fun! I've got a final to study for, but I know that won't take up my whole weekend. It depends on how I'm feeling. I hope I'm feeling better as my house really needs cleaned. If I'm not, I'll probably be laying on the couch for most of it.

Oh I almost forgot, we have dinner Sunday for MIL's birthday. She picked an Italian restaurant. So not sounding good to me. I said I'd do the cake. Luckily I've already got it made and in the freezer. All I have to do is frost it.

DH and I are going with my parents to the NJ Festival of Ballooning. It's a hot air balloon festival. We went once when I was just a kid (like 15) and DH and I went with his family two years ago. There are about 100 hot air balloons that all launch at the same time. It's truly a site to see.

Since the festival is over 2 hours away we will be staying overnight at a really nice hotel. The hotel is owned by the same company as the one DH and I work in so we get our room for only $29. Yay!

DH and I are just planning on relaxing this weekend. We're currently in Seattle for DH's summer internship (I'm here until Wednesday and he's here until Aug 13th). Maybe see if I can get reservations to eat at the top of the Space Needle. Oh! And see an old friend for dinner on Sunday. My old Physics Lab partner from the high school days apparently ended up here in Seattle so I'm going to meet up with him again after 6 years. And he gets to meet DH.

That's about it!

I took off early and had lunch with a coworker and my dad. I so shouldn't have gone to the chinese buffet. I'm miserably stuffed and that was only two plates. Ick!

Ha! My DH's aunt is visiting from Chilie and we are going to a Chinese buffet today because she can't get Chinese food in Chilie.

I went to those when I was little too! DH and I went to one a few months ago, but the hot air balloons couldn't launch because it was too windy Sad

Tonight DH and I are just relaxing at home watching the opening ceremony for the olympics. Sat and Sun we are going to meet the parents of my students at their homes. We're going to 4 families on Saturday and 4 families on Sunday. He works at 7pm both Sat and Sun night. When he's at work I'll be pulling apart our math curriculum.
