New feline addition to the family! :)

On our way home last night, H called and said "stop at the store and get some cat food." i was like, "um, why?" he said because he found 3 little kitties!!! i was like SOOOO excited... i have been wanting to get some barn cats for a while (we live way out in the sticks) and just haven't....

Sooooo, we got home and went out to look for them, and only saw one, and there was no momma in sight.... so, we got some food on a plate and some tuna and some water and put it down and left them alone. (H said they ran away when they saw him)

Later, we went back out to check on them, and there are 4 kittens AND momma was there!! She must've been out hunting, because there was a big icky dead mouse next to them :) anyways, momma is siamese and BEAUTIFUL, but very VERY thin, and the babies seem to be doing well... sucking momma dry though...  there are 3 calico kitties and one that is white and gray striped... momma is very sweet, comes right up to us, lets us love on her and everything... she won't let me pick her up yet, but she follows us everywhere... so i think she'll come around.

I'm soooooo excited to have kitties!! but, we have to get momma better. she is soooooo thin, you can feel every bone in her little body... and rittled with fleas. so, my plan is that once she warms up a little more, to get her to the vet and get her un-flea'd and after the kitties are a little bigger, get her spayed....

anyways, had to share the happy news, i know we all love our pets!!
