We're hosting a party for the Opening Ceremony of the Olympics. The London website has a lot to offer, but I am always looking for more ideas. Got any? This is a small gathering~maybe 10 people~plus our 3 small children. I'm not too worried about the kids entertainment, as they will probably be in bed.
Any cute recipes, decorating tips, or games to play? Thanks!

THANKS!
I'll be a guest at an Olympics party and was looking for something to take. I came across a lot of mushy peas recipes and recalled an old Real Simple clipping I had that had a lot of bruschetta inspired things which led me to this recipe:

I hear mint & peas are an amazing combo so we'll see how that turns out. I plan on serving with either toasted or grilled baguette slices. This may not be the most authentic British recipe but I think my group will like it.
Oh, another girlfriend is making bangers & mash. I'm excited to try that!
I like the ideas of signs for "The Official 2012 Olympics". Cute idea!
