Shape Up Saturday (AKA: Super Late Fitness Friday)

I'm up late and figured I'd post this just so it's up. I'll be back to write my answers after I get up for the day.
 
How did you do this past week?

  • How did you do this past week? Not great but not bad. We ate pizza a lot this week but I kept snacking down to a minimum and exercised more. I'm down one pound and two percent fat!

    What are your goals for the upcoming week? We're going to be busy this week, so I have a feeling we'll be having not so good food. I'm going to really push myself to exercise more this week to compensate.

    What are your favorite healthy meals/snacks? I love love love cold fuji apples. They're okay at room temperature, but they're so yummy cold.

    What is one thing you'd like to change about yourself (physical or not)? I need to get motivated. I know once I get into a groove and am eating better and exercising more, I'll have more energy and be more motivated. But right now, it's so hard getting started.

    What is your favorite thing about yourself (physical or not)? Maybe not my favorite thing, but something I like: Once I get going on something, I'll push myself to finish. Like when we are exercising, even if I feel super tired, I'll make myself finish the workout. It really makes me feel good to get to the end.

  • How did you do this past week? 
     -Horrible. I did Ab Ripper X twice with DH, but didn't go running or anything. This month is my time off between working full time and then going back to school to get my Masters, so I have been appreciating my lazy time in a very anti-fitniss way
     
    What are your goals for the upcoming week?
    -Go running again. Although I used to jog a mile a day, it definitely helped. Hopefully I can start that up again (on top of Ab Ripper X with DH) 

    What are your favorite healthy meals/snacks?
    -Baby carrots! And I cut up cucumbers and eat them like I would eat chips out of a bag. So yummy. 
     
    What is one thing you'd like to change about yourself (physical or not)?
    - I would like to be able to be more self-motivating. I hold myself back. The reason I am working out is not to lose weight, but just to be healthy and tone up legs and thighs. 
     
    What is your favorite thing about yourself (physical or not)?
    - One of my favorite things about myself I think would have to be how much better I feel about myself after working out, especially consistently. I have more energy, my face clears up (such as acne), and I feel sexier for DH so I seem to have more of a sex drive (sorry if TMI haha). Gosh, just reading that makes me feel like I should go work out now
