My cat died :(
I woke up this morning and found my cat dead. He died of heart failure in the middle of the night. DH said he ran up the stairs at midnight so he must have passed sometime after that. I didn't even know he was sick. He seemed fine. This was MY cat. I've had him longer than I knew DH. We buried him in my parents front yard.
I can't stop crying. This pain is too much. I don't know how I'm going to get through this.

I'm sorry for your loss Tara. I know how hard it can be to find your pet dead. I found my cat dead over the summer when my mom was at work when I was in elementary school. It was so traumatic.
My mom and dad had to put their dog down today. It's a sad day in the pet world:(
Thank you everyone. The pain that I feel is unbearable. We have been out of town but we arrive home in a few hours and I am dreading going into that townhouse without him there to greet me. He was the life of that house. It's going to feel so cold and empty without him there.
He was only just going to be 5 on September 7. He lived such a short little life.
