Indigestion is plaguing me. I'm getting a handle on it. No acidic foods and keep the salt down. I'm hoping it's a side effect of the meds I'm on. If so I'm done with those meds tomorrow. We'll see. I'm also crazy tired all the time which I read is normal. I'm getting a handle on the nausea. I snack a lot more and keep hard candies around for when I'm driving. I've always had a tendency to get motion sick on long car rides. Now just driving to work makes me car sick. The candies seem to help a bit.
Two more weeks until the ultrasound! And by then my doctor said the frist trimester symptoms should be lessening.
Re: Week 8
I know this isn't exactly about indigestion, but it is about pregnancy. Had to share

I've always had horrible motion sickness. On long road trips, my parents would bring along some citrus fruits and make me smell them when I was feeling sick. It helped some.
ETA: Is it weird that I'm excited for your ultrasound? Will you be posting the photo for us?
Of course I'll share my ultrasound picture.
I read about sea bands and ordered some last week. I haven't even gotten an email that they shipped yet. It's really weird. On the weekend I tend to be a lot less sick from nausea. I'm not sure if it's because I get way more sleep or because I don't have to drive anywhere.
Michelle, I have a feeling I am going to be so greatful for your posts when it's my turn to get pregnant! I'll know how to address issues that you may have had.
I hope this 2 weeks goes by fast for you! That is going to be super exciting to be able to see the baby!
I love being able to share with you guys. I can't wait to hear about each of our journeys. I know I'll be just as excited when you guys are pregnant too.
I love how supportive everyone is and that advice is offered, but no one is going "Really?! It's too early for that". It's annoying to hear that. Every person is different and each pregnancy is different. So if you have symptoms that I didn't, I promise to commiserate with you and not be all snooty.
