Don't know how I almost forgot this!
DH and I are currently living with his dad and step mom until our house has been built. We've been there over a month and things are fantastic, we are very similar so we all seem to just get each other and are never in each others space.
Saturday DH and I were gone all day for my mom's birthday and when we came home I walked into our room and thought the housekeeper had been there, until I realised it was Saturday and she only comes Fridays. DH's step mom made our room all nice and pretty! She fixed the lace curtains so they weren't on the floor in our way, hung our pictures up, organized a few make shift creates/bookshelves, and even changed the sheets!
I almost wanted to cry because I thought maybe it was our hint to keep things a litter more tidy. I'm super sensitive to this stuff because we are guests in thier house and I feel they are already doing so much for us. When I talked to her (and said thank you) the next day she said she did it because she wanted to make it more like a home for us and to do what she could to make us feel like we have more space than just a bedroom. Awww
I love her so much! I don't know how I got so lucky sometimes!
