Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. Teachers--when do you go back?
I go back August 9th for New Teacher Induction (since I'm new to the district). Then our professional days start August 16 and classes start August 22.
This is definitely the latest I've ever gone back to work---my previous school always started the second week of August. I don't envy the people who go back next week.

Agu 6-7, 13-14 in service
Aug 10-11 Parent conference (required to go)
Aug 20 Meet the teacher
Aug 22 First day of school
It's a private school, thus the parent conference. My old district had us come for two days of inservice prior to the start of school and that was it. Although I'm so happy about my new pt teaching job, I'm sad essentially starting work the first week of Aug.
