The last of us should be celebrating today & tomorrow! I can't believe it's been 2 years.
We had a busy weekend (went to see a friend's band play at a street festival, went to a Pierogi festival, went to brunch/outlet mall/ movies yesterday). Today we just went out to dinner tonight to celebrate (to a Brazilian steak house- I think I had my fill of red meat for the next couple of months- but it was delicious!!).
And how crazy is it that my ticker says one year til our THIRD anniversary??

Happy Anniversary!
Also random question, but for the steakhouse, was it in CHI or DG? We went to the one in CHI a few years ago, and I had wanted to go to the one in DG for our anniversary this year but we didn't make it. So just curious, as if it was the DG location that was delicious, then I want to make sure we go sometime!
Thanks for the anniversary well-wishes!
Happy anniversary to all of my anniversary buddies!
I cannot believe we are all now on our way to year 3!
my read shelf:
DG (we have become such suburbanites!! This weekend we will be in the city for most of it, so that is good!!) I've been to Fogo De Chao, too (like 5 years ago). I read the yelp reviews for the one in DG- and some of the reviews had me worried. The service was EXCELLENT. I can't eat pork, so after two different guys came to our table with pork, the head waiter came over to ask what I would like. They were extremely attentive!! 90% of the meat was incredible. The side dishes were good, too. DH got a drink (he went to grad school with some Brazillians & there is some drink made with some special alcohol he has only been able to get at Brazillian restaurants and at Carnivale- which is right off the Kennedy & is amazing as well!! expensive but amazing, and free street parking is actually available right there) & we skipped dessert (mainly b/c they had grilled plantains... that was dessert enough for me last night).
Awesome. I love having actual recommendations instead of relying on online reviews. We went to Brazaz once, but heard that DG was a little bit cheaper price wise. Looking forward to trying it sometime soon!
