I just finished the first of the Harry Potter books. I'm annoyed that I am 5/6 on the waitlist for the second haha. And I started Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close but it hasn't piqued my interest yet. I will have to give it another shot.
Re: What are you reading?
Moo, Baa, La La La for the hundreth time. I have it memorized.

I have tried to finish that twice and it just isn't doing it for me, I am just going to watch the movie.
Just finished The Secret History for book club, it was blah. Also just read Beautiful Disaster in three days and enjoyed it.
I really want to read Emily Griffins newest book, also have a few freebies on my kindle. Do you have anything that was good and is lendable?

I was just about to ask everyone this very question. I lurk on the nest book club board and I was reading through the amount of books they claim they read every month. I am just blown away. Some of them read more than a dozen books a month. I just don't have time for that much reading or maybe I just read too slow?
Anyway, in July I read On the Island. It was good but not great. I liked the story but I didn't think the writer needed to tell the story from the perspective of both main characters. The female character was stronger written and I think I would have enjoyed the story better from her perspective alone. Next I read The Knife of Never Letting Go. It ended with a very large cliff hanger but it didn't leave me wanting to run to pick up the next book right away. I liked it but I'll wait before starting the next one. Last week I started Outlander and I haven't been able to put it down. The first 8 or so chapters were slow but now I think I may be in love (with the leading male character, of course!) Sitting here at work is driving me nuts because all I want to do is go home to find out what happens next! My August book club book is The Perks of Being a Wallflower and September is A Tree Grows in Brooklyn so I hope to get those read while on vacation in Maine next week!
I have all of them in hard-cover (most of them bought at midnight on the release date
) I'd be happy to lend them to you if you promised to return them!

Mix it up with some Perfect Piggies. It's a song, it's a dance, it's a celebration.
Just finished Gone Girl. Loved it and Gillian Flynn's other 2 books are on my to-read list.
