What are you wishing for this week?
I wish I could get out of the funk I am in. I have been exhausted and depressed lately and I don't know why. I hate feeling like this.
I wish my body would go back to normal. The removal of my iud has caused almost more pain then when it was in. I'm mad at myself for getting one in the first place.
Re: Wishful Wednesday
I wish this baby would make its appearance soon, like maybe 2 weeks or so. I'm so excited to meet him/her and I'm starting to get restless thinking of when it will happen.
I wish I hadn't run into the doorframe in the middle of the night last night when I got up to pee, I hit my toe hard and now there's blood under the nail.
I wish T wouldn't be in a mood lately. He's stressed and tired, and it's getting on my nerves.
I wish it didn't cost us over $2k just to register our cars in this state. I'm beyond annoyed at spending that money for the privilege of driving. Between registration costs, getting new titles issued, inspection fees and then repair fees when certain things didn't pass inspection, which were minor but still added up, it just plain sucks. And we didn't even register the 4th car since its in storage and never gets driven and will likely be transported the next time we move.
I wish my replacement monitor would get here already, at least it would give me something to do and make me feel like everything is ready for the baby.
I wish I could work 3 days a week from 10am-2pm and still get the same paycheck I have now.
I wish I lived closer to my Nestie Besties. I loved hanging out with Krissy, Maria, Reenie, and the kids this weekend.
I wish students would advocate for themselves more and take responsibility for their college experience.
I wish DH would find a job he loves after he graduates and that it would allow us to stay in this area.
I wish all of our debt would magically disappear.
I wish Matt would get the job he interviewed for (that's for you, Krissy!)
I wish I'd bought TWO donuts instead of one this morning LOL.
Kate's Recipe Box || Relatively Bookish
I going to agree with Kate and wish I could get paid to watch the Olympics.
I wish I was better at doing groceries and there would be good food in my house.
One summer after high school I worked in an Athletics store that was not very busy so we basically got to just sit and watch Olympics all day, and get paid for it. It was fabulous!
I wish that the summer would slow down. It's already over half over and at the end I have to go back to work for the first time in a year. I'm not so worried about leaving M, we have a great day home. I am stressing about how to wean her before then though and am having a hard time getting any information.
I wish our families lived closer by so we didn't have to play long trips out away from home to go visit them. B just got home from Costa Rica and I think we are going to head to his parents for 4 days or so tomorrow. ugh.
Tara... I'm sorry about the IUD... I have heard nightmares about them.
Yvonne.... the car situation stinks. How awful!
Kate and E... I have been sitting on my couch watching the Olympics. I am not getting paid to do it but wouldn't trade my time off for pay. Alas... I have today and 3 more weekdays before going back.
Sarah... Now I want a doughnut...
Lindsay... half over? Mine is OVER! I go back on Tuesday... can you start taking her for short periods of time during the summer? Like leave her there for a couple hours while you do some shopping and what not so she gets used to it a bit before 5 days/all day starts? Might make it an easier transition on both of you. Did you get an answer about your classroom and your desk?
I wish I had more time during the summer but I also have to say I truly enjoy having two weeks off for Spring Break. I do wish we had the whole week for Thanksgiving off.
I wish this year's kids would for the most part be compliant, respectful and motivated. I'd settle for just the first two. I can work with the third easier.
I wish my books for my Advanced class would arrive by the first week of school but I have no idea. In fact, I wish my Office Manager would return my emails.... he is usually a rock star so hope all is ok with him.
I wish for extreme motivation and schedule balance this year so I can maintain a reasonable gym/diet program...
I wish I had the money for a new mattress. My current one leaves me with daily back pain.
Our summer holidays start June 30th. We get two months off. I think you guys probably just start holidays earlier than us.
We are going to start taking Mackenzie to the day home for a couple hours, then half days, etc, for the week leading up to when we go back. We are going over today to just show the lady her cast and see how comfortable she feels with it. The other option is B's mom said she could come down for a few weeks when we go back to stay with Kenzie, but I think it would be easier to just take her to day home from the get go. Fewer transitions.
I emailed the guy who "stole" my desk and he was good about it. He said he would Indian Leg Wrestle me for it (he is Metis), and said or I could just take out his awesome math stuff and put my boring science stuff in it
Still waiting for the other lady to get her crap out of my classroom though. Grrrrr.
I just want to nap.
I wish that I hadn't just sat in traffic for 2 hours. On that note, I also wish my friends would move south of Boston so I didn't have to drive through the city all the time.
I wish my cycles would regulate. My chart is so random, I was more regular when I first got off b/c which makes no sense.
I wish the darling children across the street were a bit nicer to their grandfather who babysits them every day during the summer.
That's good that your coworker is giving your desk back but I hope you get your room back. That'd be a bigger issue for me. I also have to agree on the boring science stuff, hehe, but this history/government teacher would tell him that the math is even MORE boring. Get you some constitution in there... that's the good stuff!
I wish my four days a week, out at 1pm schedule was year round and not just for summer school.
I wish our cars weren't both over 10 years old
I wish we could afford a house or at least a nicer rental
I wish we could go on a nice vacation
I wish more people appreciated what they have
Jenny McCarthy = Former Playmate and MTV host
Pediatrician = Doctor with extensive experience and education on children.
Bumpies = Don't get me started!
I know who I get my health advice from!
What are you looking at?
