I got this from a colleague today:
Today?s the perfect day for some jackhole to cut you off in traffic, for a co-worker to let the elevator doors close in your face or for a run-in with your least favorite ex. Why? Because today is the first World Middle Finger Day, a day when you're encouraged to extend the most expressive of digits toward anyone or anything that irks you. The official video, though, just made us put our thumbs up, especially the catchy "Give them the finger!" chorus. "The Middle Finger gesture is the most universal gesture there is to express discontent," Middle Finger promoter Charles Greene says. "It's a clear but peaceful way to protest, to object." We're ready, world. Do your worst.
