Anyone else use myfitnesspal?

It is a website/app for calorie tracking. I have been using it for about a month and really like it so far, DH just started using it too.

I want to add some friends to keep me motivated and also ask a few questions if you are familliar with it...

  • It's what I've been using for the past 8 weeks. I guess I need to update everyone on everything too. I like it and it really helps me.

    You guys will see that I go over my calories by roughly 100 each day. To lose 1 lb a week it has me eating 1200 calories a day. But to maintain its 1600 a day. While I'd like to lose 4 more lbs, my sister is adament that I don't right now due to some personal things I have going on in life. So my compromise is about 1300 a day. Plus I can't work out right now so there is no way I'm going to eat 1600 a day.

  • if i share my diary, you have to promise not to judge me! especially with the amount of alcohol consumed.. i try to drink only when i excercise and have the calories to burn

  • Okay, I've joined because I think I could use the motivation, aka accountability. My sn is NewQueenPhilly (some jerk already took NewQueen). Ummm, with that being said, starting on Friday I'll be on vacation for a week so I will likely forget to log what I've eaten but you can assume it's not healthy (red wine, seafood fried or drenched in butter, and cheese...lots and lots of cheese with crackers).
