Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

How did your first day go? I hope you had a great first day. Glad the move down went well for you.

The first day was alright. This whole week is a combined orientation with all the new teachers from 5 schools so it's a lot of professional development and learning policies and stuff. So by the end of today I was just tired and antsy from sitting. But I did get to meet some fellow new teachers who will also be in my building and a lot of them are brand new teachers too which is a relief.
I'm supposed to meet with my vice principal this week because "we have a lot to talk about". They want me to meet with different area music teachers and stuff. I guess they have ideas for what they want and want me to network with people that will help me to do it. That's a relief, I guess. I'm just anxious to know what they want already...
Hopefully the meeting goes well and you get lots of help and support from the other music teachers.
It's great that the week is starting out well, even though it's boring by sitting around so much.
