thrifty/car rental help

mh, 5 month old, and i will be arriving at midway on tues and wamt to rent a car to head to wisconsin.  so far i found thrifty to have the best price but i've never used them... anybody use them before and if so what did u think????  also it will be fine that we're taking the car out of state????  or if not thrifty any good recs on where to fiind good cheap rental for 3 days?  thanks :)

Re: thrifty/car rental help

  • I have not rented at that location but have used Thrifty and had no issues. In fact I left something in the car and was able to reach their lost and found to hopefully retrieve it. (Co-worker still out there and will go get it if she is avail during their open hours.)
  • I don't have any experience with Thrifty but we just rented from Dollar last week in California and had a great experience. It was quite a bit less (like $200) from other major rental companies like Hertz or Enterprise and the whole process went very smoothly. It shouldn't be an issue to take the car out of state.

  • Try priceline and name your own price. Its awesome, I just saved us $114 for a 9 day rental. I'm super excited! I think almost all the rental companies have unlimited mileage and its not a problem going out of state.
