Must make it to 5pm....
Just have to make it until 5pm today and then all I have to worry about is where is Atlantic City I can find a rum drink!! We are going to AC for a Jimmy Buffett concert this Saturday but decided to add in Friday as well since both DH and I are on our last nerve with work lately! Yay mini vacation and staying sane!
Anyone else have fun plans for the weekend?

I totally felt like that yesterday because I'm so burnt out on work right now.
This weekend I'm working
so I'm not doing anything exciting, I have some vacation time coming up in 2 weeks so I'm anxiously counting down the days until then.
Must make it until 5:30...ugh...7 more hours.
Congratulations on your mini-vacation! Sounds like a blast!
I have to work on Saturday, but only until 1. Who knows what will come after that. Have a picnic to go to on Sunday...don't really want to go, but H is on the board for the organization holding the picnic, so he has to go and I should go.

Nothing exciting going on for me this weekend. DH has to work Saturday.
However, next week is a 3 day work week for me! Thursday I'm going outlet shopping with my mom. Friday DH & I are going to the state fair.
So I'm axiously waiting for next Wednesday at 5:00!

this weekend is pretty jam packed. Saturday there's a race in Central Park that DH and members of my running club are doing (it's a team championship that I didn't qualify for) so I'm cheering them on, then I have to go to a wake for a friend's father who passed away this morning. That night is my friend's bachelorette party in NYC that I was just invited to (I'm not in the wedding, but she wants me there). Sunday we're going to my in-laws' to celebrate FIL's birthday and hopefully chill by the pool for a bit, then my aunt & uncle are down in Jersey for a doctor's appt so we're going out to dinner with them.
Makes me look forward to the week of the 13th when I'm off for a staycation which includes overnight trips to AC and Rhode Island!
ky - have fun at the state fair! Eat lots of yummy food for me :-) DH and I decided not to go this year. We've been the past 3 years, but we'll be going next year! I love it!

We didn't end up making it last year. But this year I think I'm going to try the 'featured fried food' (which I never thought I would do). It's deep fried samoas (my fave girl scout cookie!). I'm justifying it by saying I'll never have another chance to try it.
And, I also want to try the spaghetti ice cream - did you hear about that? I'm going all out on food this year!

Atlantic City and the state fair sounds like tons of fun! I've never been to Atlantic Cuty.
Im just trying to stay awake. I'm exhausted from this week and this past weekend. No rest for me because friends are coming to stay tomorrow. Seeing the Lion King on the 5th. Also no rest today because our carpets are being cleaned at this very moment! Then I have to pick up the fur baby from her stay at the vet.
It's a long weekend in Canada, so I'm really looking forward to Friday at 4:30 pm! Hopefully our manager lets us out early.
We're going to mostly just relax and enjoy some downtime as we've had so much going on lately. We're going to my sister's for a games night on Saturday, the beach on Sunday and that's all that is planned for now. As much as I want to relax and do nothing productive, I know that I'll have to do some freelance work and we'll wind up doing some house stuff too.
I need it to be Saturday 11:30am. Then I'll have internet in my apartment finally, and I can stop having to make lists of everything I want to look up/do online that I think of randomly in my apartment, but then have to wait until the next day after school to look up when I make my daily trip to the apartment clubhouse :-P
I've never realized how much I rely on the internet before, especially in a brand new place!!
But then I'm off to Orlando for my service fraternity's national convention (I still go every year as an alumni) Saturday night and will hopefully be going out in Disney or some bars. Sunday H's aunt invited me to her house so I won't be alone on my birthday. I'm not sure what we're doing...
I did hear about the spahetti ice cream! Sounds delicious! That's all I ever go for is the food anyways :-)
