Hey y'all!
I thought yesterday was Friday even though I knew it wasn't (if that makes any sense). Today we are going home to see our parents. Weekend plans are open.
B's company played softball against another firm yesterday. It was fun. B scored(yay) and his firm won. I met some cool people.
Olympics: yay Gabby, Micheal, Missy, and all the other great athletes. Track and Field starts today. I've been waiting. This is MY sport. I used to be a sprinter. Love!
Is anyone going to Rock the Rapids in a couple of weeks?
I haven't been watching the Olympics. DH got me hooked on Big Brother though.
We have a family reunion tomorrow. Also one on Sunday but we might skip that one - it's DH's family and he doesn't want to go.
I have to go back to work next week, so I would rather this week keep going longer. This on again off again schedule for the summer is brutal. No wonder our students are completely out of sorts more than in years we just had school all summer. It's hard to adjust back & forth so much.
I have one client this morning & I should be shower. I just don't want to get up & go. I'm being a lazy bum.
Is anyone doing the Color Run on Sunday? It is going to be insane downtown.
So thankful it is Friday! I need a good, long, relaxing weekend (I bet it will be a good one, but it won't feel long like I want it to!)
I've been enjoying the Olympics, especially gymnastics, swimming, and diving. But others have been interesting too. I really like the interviews they do with athletes... they interviewed the woman who won the gold in Judo, that was interesting.
I don't think I'll be going to Rock the Rapids, but I'm glad they have some good names coming.
Prices aren't awful, especially for the # of artists on the festival days. However, nothing jumps out as anything I'd want to pay money to see. Now if I could just listen from a sidewalk outside of the venue, then a couple would be interesting to hear.
Debating whether to head to the beach today since it is my last day off for a while. It is part of why I moved over here, yet it always seems like so much work to pack up & go!
DH & I have yet to go this year. Last year I think we made 3 times and the year before that not at all.
I just took a cat nap at works - opps!
Love Olympics! Enjoyed gymnastics and diving. I think phelps is an ass! Just my opinion!
