What are your plans for the weekend?
Re: Weekend Plans?
Tonight: Heading to my Aunts, after the kids are in bed, DH and I have plans to visit Maryland Casino Live.
Tomorrow: Western Maryland Train Ride
Saturday Night: Dinner out in Annapolis w/Friends (I'm the one that gets to pick the location, any suggestions??)
Sunday: Church and then crab feast at the IL's.
My experience with restaurants in Annapolis is very limited, but I went to Paladar a month or so ago and it was absolutely *incredible*. I can't wait to get back. A girlfriend and I had lunch and ended up spending hours there.
Friday: 34-wk appointment and NST later this morning - working before and after the appointments. Picking E up from work, dropping him off at Ikea in White Marsh with Mr. Ragdolls (and maybe the rest of the Rags family!) where the brawny men will wrestle large boxes into Mr. Rags' truck and deliver them to my home - I'll be waiting with M. Pizza for dinner, hopefully with the Rags family if they can all make it!
Saturday: Furniture assembly. *groan* Also: rearranging, organizing, purging, cleaning. Fun stuff.
Sunday: More of the same from Saturday with a lunchtime break for M and I to go visit friends for a bit.
Tonight: Horses
Tomorrow: Jazzercise, Gracie's swimming appointment, housework and then dinner at Fogo de Chao. FIL and DH will be installing our new window in the family room.
Sunday: Horses, Jazzercise and park
Paladar is really good but I would recommend reservations there on a Saturday night. Is there a type of cuisine you're looking for? Kid friendly? Do you want to go downtown or not?
Paladar is out because we went there back in April with the same group of people. We had a great experience there too!
Ooh what else are you getting from Ikea??

Doesn't need to be kid friendly (kids are staying w/my family for the night). It doesn't have to be downtown either. I think we are leaning toward Gordon birechs (sp).
Friday: Work, then family dinner at our friends' house
Saturday: No specific plans so probably housework, etc. I was going to plan a date night but for the first time ever, we don't have a babysitter available!
Sunday: Grocery shopping and more of the same from Saturday.

Tonight - DVRed the USA Women's soccer game and watching that as soon as I get home! On my new couch!
Saturday - 14 mile group run in the morning, and then immediately after that DH has baseball playoffs. We have a friends house warming party after baseball (well after showering!) and that will probably zap the rest of our energy for the day.
Sunday - shooting a newborn session for a friend and then lots of errands.
We love Gordon Biersch. If you want to go downtown, my two favorite places are Level and El Toro Bravo.
tonight - nada - dinner
tomorrow - depends on what happens w/ DH's new truck quest; Carmax in Laurel is supposed to be ordering the one he wants from the White Marsh location. But, it hasn't happened yet. We may need to go to Carmax and do all the trade in BS. I'm not sure if this will be with DD or not. I need to get DD some new shoes, so probably a mall visit Saturday afternoon or evening.
Sunday - assuming the new truck stuff is resolved, Howard County Fair visit and/or pool.
Tonight - hopefully getting the bathroom closet painted, or at least primed.
Saturday - Oil change, co-op meeting, Merry Maids meeting, work 2:30 - 4
Sunday - Errands, driving to PA
Sunday will be the first time I have spent the night away from DD ever. Mostly, I am really nervous. I'm hoping that I will get some much-needed sleep, but I'll probably be worried. She's be with DH, so I know that she will be fine.
I'm not sure how I got to be one of "those" moms. I know other people who have left their kids at an earlier age and I don't judge them.
I may chicken out and drive up on Monday morning, instead.
LOL - be strong! It'll be good for you, her and DH!! Do it
Four day weekend!
Friday: DH took off work today so we are going to the gym, cleaning, and relaxing.
Saturday: gym, yardwork, relaxing
Sunday: My parents are in town for the night so hanging out with them and going to dinner with my sister's family.
Monday: gym, shopping for my friend who is having her baby any day, relaxing.
Furniture for our bedroom! We were both really happy with the Hemnes dresser we bought for the baby's room, and agreed that we'd look into the furniture for our own bedroom - right now we have a bed on a frame (no head/foot boards), a dresser that's broken because I've owned it for 16 years, nightstands that were bought used and are falling apart crap, and a TV stand that's falling apart. And none of it matches.
So we're getting the headboard/footboard, the 6-drawer chest, and two nightstands!
we only got real new bedroom furniture right before DD was born - we'd both had hand me downs before that. It still makes me feel very grown up to have bedroom furniture!
