I have to say that while I don't LOVE the show, I am sucked in. I have watched it since it first started, so I wanna see how it all ends. But I am a TV drama whore.
Joy and I are getting ready to call the cable company and terminate everything. Should be interesting.
Really? Every once in a while someone says we should get cable, but honestly, since the digital switch, there is a lot more to watch. I really like it, but I guess you could call me a pbs whore.
Really. Right now we have a bundled cable/telephone/internet deal. Wanted to drop the home phone because we mostly use our cells for everything. There are so many discounts wrapped in that I don't save anything dropping the home phone due to breaking the bundle.
On top of that, the cable bill has gone from $144 or so a month when I had cable, internet, and two phone lines, to $122 when I had cable, internet, and one phone line. Back to $138 with another increase coming.
I used to be a TV junkie, but they've cancelled everything I actually made time to watch and Joy mostly watched streamed Thai TV. Not worth paying a $140 bill for something we don't use.
So we're going to drop the home phone and cable. Swap the internet over the the business side. Probably switch to Verizon's share everything plan. And I can also at that point cancel a virtual server I'm hosting. Should save us $120/month.
She drives me bonkers!! I cannot stand her most of the time, rehab did nothing for her. Honestly I'm kind of glad she landed herself in jail, maybe that's what she needs to get her crap together.
Both DH and I LOVE this show! We even have it set on DVR, I'm kind of sad that this is the last season for it.
It just became more worth it. Got the bill after the promo pricing expired. +$23/month. It's now $162/month. um?
