Weekend Plans?

What's on the schedule this weekend, ladies?

Re: Weekend Plans?

  • Tonight: trying to figure out dinner. DH has guitar practice for church tonight, so bedtime will be just me and the kids. Probably will end up watching some Olympic events before hitting the hay.

Saturday: hopefully picking up my purse, and hopefully it won't cost too much for the repair. Taking the kids to Camp to swim. Need to do a grocery shopping.

Sunday: mass with the kids, then back to Camp for the Annual Clam Bake and Field Day. It's like a mini family reunion for me, since so many of my relatives will be there, either to volunteer as workers, or support the camp with donations and purchases. My kids are still too young for me to be working, but we'll go spend some money!

  • was going to attend a wedding in Cape Cod but we decided to back out, due to my increasing BH from the baby and all the $$ going out with the extra repair requests from our closing.  So, DH and I will enjoy a movie and dinner while my mom still takes the girls for an overnight on Sat.

  • Kid's 2 bday party today.  We're expecting about 30 people.

    Tomorrow hopefully some relaxing.

  • I spent friday in the car driving all over the state of New Jersey -- Pomona --> Princeton --> Iselin --> Paramus --> Suffern --> Pomona = 185 miles of driving, meeting and lunch w/ the boss to discuss cases and a new trial and pick up a file, drop off another file for him in Iselin, IKEA (ALONE!) to pick up new office furniture and supplies... it was exhausting!

yesterday was yard work (for DH!), lots of cleaning, playing, and I finally did a major reorg of all kids' craft supplies and my dining room. It's actually a pleasure to sit and eat now instead of being surrounded by piles that give me hives!

Today: We've had a fabulously lazy start to the day, but now I had to stop playing legos and must get off the computer and head downstairs. I want to clear our all the office stuff now then try to build these 2 Expedit units. I'm nervous, and DH's back is sore so not sure if I will have help or not! eeek!  But will be so worth it when the office (which is really just one wall of the family room downstairs) is done. I can't wait to actually like my workspace!
