Baby Shower Board Lurker and a cute DH moment
Well, I'm a lurker of all boards. But my current entertainment is the Baby Shower Board. Not only does it have cute pictures/descriptions of baby showers (which I love), but it has stories of tacky shower invites and situations. Oh my, some make me laugh quite a lot. Such as charging a 30 dollar cover fee at the door, people having their 4th shower in 4 years, etc etc.
That being said, I wish I was invited to more baby showers. All my close friends are at the "not married, still just going through college and not going to have a baby anytime soon" phase in their lives. Which is great. But selfish me wants some baby to spoil! DH and I were video skyping. He sent me a link which took me to a website with a baby onesie that said "Arrr... someone change my booty". Then proceeded to send me other cute onesies including "My daddy is a hunk", "I did 9 months...I finally got out", "Living proof that geeks have sex", etc. I asked(typed) "So what's with all the onesies?" and he said(typed) "I love to see your expression

"Just had to share a moment in which my husband was putting baby on the brain out there all on his own. It's been 3 days since we've been together; maybe it isn't such a bad thing haha

DH is weird to me.
I am sure when I get that far, I will take all the help I can get. If I had my way, we would be TTC, but life is saying its not time. I will probably be one of the last ones on this board. Which means: I can use everyone's advice and experiences.
Maybe instead of Vegas, we should all do one big baby party! hehe

Husband is going to school for Computer Science and is currently interning with Amazon. He sent me this haha. He definitely appreciates geek/nerd/computer onesies. So cute

I don't blame you. Since we just moved out here, we don't really know anyone, so I spend A LOT of time on here. People spend their weekends with their families. I spend mine with my internet family.

I usually type out LINK. Then highlight it. Then up by the smilies in the edit bar, there is something that looks like a chainlink. Click that, and then paste in the website.

Yes me too. Mine is a J too, Jerome actually. That is a cute story! I love baby stuff too, and window shopping for baby things. But based on my luck, none of the cute stuff will be there when a baby actually does come.
How bout we have a competition to see who is the last to conceive. It is going to be long, but it should be fun!
I think they didn't transfer over. I know that there was someone, but I know it wasn't anyone who is still a regular.
