Cleaning Challenge check in!!
Ok, I was pretty hit or miss last week... but overall I did more cleaning than I normally would. And yesterday (Sunday) I cooked and cleaned my butt off for over 3 hours (mostly cooked, but kept the dishes clean while I was cooking so there wasn't a sink full when I was done).
Cleaning goals this week? Or today? Want to participate in another 30 minute clean-a-thon?
Re: Cleaning Challenge check in!!
How did you do this?? Did you lock your kids outside?
I desperately need some alone time so I can do some serious cleaning.
I finally did all of our laundry. Right now, it is clean and sitting in a pile on our dining room table. So, tonight I will fold.
I also pulled weeds this weekend. My landscaping is dying yet the weeds are perkier than ever. So annoying.
H entertained them for me
I loved the 30-minute cleanathon...I'd do that again!
I was gone all weekend but spent two hours on Friday cleaning before I left for the weekend. I also did some major shuffling around [finally getting the spare bedroom in my apartment set up fully as JJ's room, so did some moving around in there and de-cluttered my living room of all his toys], cleaned dishes and did laundry. It was nice to come home to a clean apartment last night.
Oh. And for this week, I've dubbed it Baby D week - I really, really need to get in gear and get things done for him. That means washing clothes, re-setting up the crib [and washing blankets/crib sheets], making sure the car seat base fits in the Sonata, washing bottles etc.
I also need to get back into a legit cleaning routine - I've been in and out a lot the past couple of weeks while my dad's been back in Oklahoma, but I'll stay put now that he's back in Afghanistan. Which means I need to quit being lazy and actually stick to my chore chart instead of doing a massive cleaning once a week that wears me out.
