FFCs, vents, AWs, comments, etc? DH totally needed a new truck and it makes sense for him to get a new vehicle. But, I'm still slightly annoyed that he's now got a brand new vehicle and I'm driving the same one from 2003! Mama's getting and upgrade next year!!
Highs? Hanging out with a good friend, having dinner and getting an amazing deal on a dress; visiting family on Sunday; going to BJs by myself on Saturday, so I got to take as long as I wanted (can't do that when DH is with me)
Lows? Didn't get as much cleaning done as I wanted, but can make up for that this week.
Eat/make anything good? Mom's spaghetti, dinner at 13.5% Wine Bar (we split the squash pizza, dip trio, heirloom tomato salad and Hampden bar).
Watch anything good? Contagion, it was ok. True Blood.
Read anything good? I finished the Fallen series
It's pretty awful (i.e. like Twilight), but an easy read.
FFCs, vents, AWs, comments, etc? Vent: A new woman started at work last week and she is killing me. She has everyone so stressed out, it's pretty bad.
What are you looking forward to this week? Hopefully it won't be as horribly crazy at work as it was last week, though it's already shaping up to be bad. Is it Friday night yet?

I've read that series! I agree - pretty awful, yet good
That's where E and I are having a date night when we're in Disney! Glad to hear it's so good! Welcome home
I loved hearing "Welcome Home" every time we came back to the resort! Where are you guys staying?
The Contemporary! Where did you stay?
Highs? Having a pleasant weekend with my sister and getting a lot done this weekend - decluttering my mom's house, co-op meeting, working, legal stuff
Lows - Having to drive up to PA again. I guess I really didn't have to do it, but I wanted to be at the care meeting with the social worker. My sister is kind of brash.
Eat/Make? I had Chipotle for the first time and it was really good
No reading
FFC's/AW's etc. - Background - my mom was hospitalized 2 weeks ago due to bp and other issues. She can't walk by herself, even with a walker, so they released her to an in-patient rehab facility until she can adequately walk on her own. Dear sis, I AM glad that you are getting more involved in Mom's care, but I do expect you to do a *bit* more when you are at the house - clean up papers, take stuff to Goodwill, throw stuff out, make sure bills are paid and that there is enough dog food for the dog. I know you are overwhelmed and have a "stressful" job, but I'm busy too AND I have a husband and kid to add to the mix.
In addition to going up 2 weekends in a row, I also had to arrange to have legal papers drawn up, find a notary/witnesses and drop them off after they were signed. All sis had to do was drive home.grr.
It was the first night I spent away from DD. Everyone survived. After I left, she wandered around the house for 1.5 hours going "Ma Ma"? and looking for me. She also woke up 2 x during the night calling for me and DH said it was hard to get her back to sleep. Also, I swear she grew taller in the 30 hours that I left her.
AW - The social worker at the nursing home said to me "You are so polite.". HA! I just think it's better to be polite to the people who are coordinating my mom's care than, "brash", as my sister describes herself.
I am looking forward to this week being over
