There are times in life I wonder, "why do I do this to myself?" This is one of those times!
The hubs and I are throwing a pig roast this weekend and it just happens to be our anniversary. That's not the reason for the party, but I feel like since it's our 5-year anniversary I've got to have a little throwback to our wedding or something. Since I love to bake I'm making a massive sweats table.
Then, I thought, "oh we had these amazing white chocolate crabs at our wedding. I should make those." Of course I think of this now!
Does anyone have any idea where the heck I can buy crab molds locally? This is Maryland, they have got to be here somewhere, right?

I'm not crafty - I just ordered a bunch for my wedding from a choclatier in NoVa. They were pretty reasonable price and I just had to make one phone call.
I remember when we got married it was a HUGE ordeal that I ordered from a place on the Eastern Shore. They were not comfortable shipping them in August because they were worried they would melt.
DH is a saint for embracing my craziness.
Call Naron Chocolates (same as Mary Sue). Naron supplies a lot of stores with chocolate displays. They may make crabs.
We used
Sweet Rick's Candy & Fudge Shop
5797 Main St.
Rock Hall, MD 21661
very inexpensive even with the shipping, wedding guests loved them
I got mine at Kake Kraft Korner-
7219 Baltimore Annapolis Boulevard
Glen Burnie, MD 21061

The Cake and Wedding Cottage in Perry Hall carries the molds. The last time I was there they had 3 different sizes of crab molds plus lollipop molds.

FYI- they're not in Perry Hall anymore...they're in Overlea in the Beltway Plaza shopping center.
