Where did your username come from?
Another "getting to know you" post :-)
I think how you chose your screen name says a lot about you.
Mine: geojam224 - geo comes from geology, I studied geology in college. jam is the first part of my name, Jamael (pronounced ja-MEL), and 224 is my birthday! Feb 24 :-)
Where did yours come from?
Re: Where did your username come from?
cpm were my initials...and 1223 was a mistake. I wanted it to be the day we got engaged (12/24, written out 1224) but I miss typed and could never change it after! oops
Missing Our July Sparkler
BFP#1-11/12/12, MMC 1/16/13-baby stopped growing @ 9wks, found out at 13wks, D&E 1/25/13
BFP#2-4/23/13 EDD-01/02/14 baby BOY born 12/31/13 Michael Cameron
Mine started off as my email when I was about 14. I'm only 5 feet tall (and I didn't hit the 5 foot mark until i was about 18). People always bugged me about being short so I used to tell them I wasn't short i was vertically challenged (I'm fairly certain that phrase came from my dad), but vertically challeneged was already taken as an email.. and then height deprived popped into my head lol so i tried it and that wasn't taken. It's kinda stuck.. its a pretty safe bet that it's usually not taken for usernames either so it's usually my go to
I
in college my roommate and i were trying to think of AIM usernames and she had a missy elliot song on and she kept singing, "come on... get down, come on ... get down" so i tried it and it worked lol
i've used it for everything since then :-P
My BFP Chart Danger Love Blog
Underwne was my college email/username. It is part of my maiden name (Underwood) so Underw and my first name is Nichole (Nicki) so n and my middle name is Elizabeth...so you have underwne. My husband made fun of me incessantly because it sounds like "under weanie."
He's real mature...hahaha
I always read it as "Underwine" :-)
Me too...
Mine was my email when I was about 13, had braces and needed a MSN name that wasn't already taken...have been trying to get rid of it ever since, but I hate having to numbers behind things to thus it stays since anything with my name is impossible to shorten, add onto or anything without adding numbers, (Whoever thought Katie was a awesome name in the 80's....didnt realize how incredibly common it would become). So its stuck.
My Blog:Through My Eyes
Haha--thank you...you, unlike my husband, are mature...hahahaha. Though under wine may mean I am constantly intoxicated. Guess I would rather be there than under a "weanie" all time.
Great ?
littleshrink: I am a counselor/psychologist and my father-in-law started to call me "littleshrink" when I was in grad school and it kind of just stuck with everyone that knows me now. Since he passed away, it's just kind of a reminder about him and his humor.
Well.. mines obvious
Mrs. New last name and our wedding date!
Mine was created in an attempt to have something untracable to me... I spend a lot of time on social media for work and my new department has a number of investigators so I try and separate out personal and work lives as much as possible. Plus then I can type a bit more about myself without it tying back to google results.
So since this is all about my new life I made it about the 2 biggest changes- I moved to the suburbs (H owned his house so I gave up my city duplex I rented) and Mrs for being married.
mandi921vh
mandi = nickname for amanda, but it's funny because only my nephew calls me it
921 = September 21st, my birthday
vh = my hometown
gsg717:
gs are my initials, g is the initial from my father's last name (i was given my mother's last name), 7/17 is my birthday.
I was wondering if this topic would ever come up. It's kind of a "secret" since it has to do with my sleeping disorder. I have narcolepsy, and while my close friends/family know I try to keep it to myself since 99% of people have no idea what that condition is really like/how it really works. I don't want word spreading about it since some people might have a problem going to see a dentist with narcolepsy (despite it not interfering with my work at all). People tend to assume the worst about what they don't understand.
Anyways, Aurora is Sleeping Beauty (from the Disney version of the fairy tale). I think the rest is self explanatory!
I love reading all these responses!
max&lucy - nothing super creative - H and I have 2 cats: Maximus and Lucy - I used their names to avoid putting too much personal data on here although I guess our whole lives are online now anyway.
