Has anyone been to Bermuda?

We're thinking about taking a last minute trip (Aug. 17-20) to Bermuda.  We live in the Washington DC area so it would be a short flight.  We're also taking our 2 year old son.  Any advice/ recommendations would help.  Thanks

Re: Has anyone been to Bermuda?

  • Love Bermuda! We most recently stayed at Granawaw (B&B). The owners are delightful. Never traveled there with a little one-  you can not rent cars on the island so public transportation or taxis :) Their aquarium is very nice and would be enjoyed by your child. There's a small beach out near St. George's that has some large rocks that created a barrier and seemed safe for children, there were lots of kids there. Sadly I can't remember the name of it :(
  • I lived there for a while when I was young and have taken tons of trips there with my kids.  I like to stay at the Fairmont Southhampton becasue it's right on the beach which is perfect for little ones and then you can take the ferry into town right from there so you don't worry about car seats and taxi's.

I think Tobacco Bay is the one you are talking about, that Beach is close to St George

  • That's it! And  I realized my typo- Granaway is the B&B
