I lurk over there sometimes and they are all so catty and juvenile it makes me crazy. Like, they troll other boards and post links so they can all gang up on people. I don't know why I still look over there.
On Thursdays, they do a thread called "Judgment Day"...except they spell it as "Judgement Day". I know both spellings are technically acceptable but it makes me nuts because it just looks wrong and I'm not a lawyer but in the legal world you never see it written that way. I posted about it and they all pounced on me and told me to get back to lurking. Drives me batty.
There is really no point to this post other than to vent. Why do I let internet strangers bug me?
Re: my bmb enrages me
Hand to god, the women having babies in October 2012 are the most ignorant dipshits I have ever come across.
Every.effing.unpopular.opinion is about welfare. And guns -- there must have been one hell of an NRA rager in January, because these girls love their guns.
what is bmb?
Baby month board. Mine is October 2011.
I share the October 2012 board with Amy#s but they dont bother me too much I have to say.
However the incessant posts on 3rd tri about possibly going into labor make me want to scratch my eyes out. ....at least 3 times a day there is a post about a FTM that is 34w and having cramps and she just knew she would have this baby early and maybe this is it!! yeah!!---um, no, you have a solid month or more of those cramps honey, you arent special, get used to it, plan to see your due date come and go with a baby still in your belly because statistics are far more reliable than your wishful thinking.
Who would wish to go into labor at 34 weeks in an otherwise healthy pregnancy? Makes me sick. But I remember this from when I was pregnant. Once the kid hit 36 weeks they wanted to send eviction notices. Yes because your comfort for 4 more weeks is more important than your baby's potential health.
Oh god yes this.
Also, the complete and utter misinformation about formula and hospitals on all of the tri/BMB boards makes me wonder if anyone in America can read.
No one is trying to take formula away from you in the hospital. No one. They are trying to stop sending you home with free ***, just like I don't get sent home with a weeks supply of pudding cups.
