2. What jewelry are you wearing right now? My wedding/engagement rings, silver ball earrings, and diamond earrings that my dad gave me the day before my wedding. All of those things stay on all the time, though.

I also decided to be a big girl, get over myself, and take your collective advice - I'm going to wear a casual dress instead of my beloved jean shorts to that shower that I'm helping with this weekend.

1. Favorite purchase you've made in the past month? new shoes! A pair of brown wedges and a pair of tan flats
2. What jewelry are you wearing right now? wedding and e-ring. I also had on a watch and pearl solitaire necklace earlier, but I took them off at the gym.
3. Has anyone done any good deeds for you lately? Care to share? In a meeting today, two members of our special project team who was presenting went out of their way to praise the quality of my (small) contribution to the project and advocate for me spending more time working with them. Hopefully that should help me get promoted next review cycle!

I recently discovered that I can do pistol squats (<- stand on one leg with the other out in front, squat down till the back of the thigh touches the calf and the other leg is out front parallel to the ground, then stand back up using just the one leg).

I'm not sure I've really bought anything for me in the last month, so I guess some new school clothes and stuff for Connor? I need to correct this post haste.

I started to say just engagement ring, but I suppose I have a nose ring as well. I sometimes forget about it, but my dental hygienist called me out on it when she spotted it on the xray today. Oh yeah, that.

I can't think of anything specific. Kevin brought home key lime pie ice cream to surprise me the other day. Nothing makes me happy like food I guess.

1) I picked up my wedding dress this week, eeep!
2) I feel validated for my efforts to remove sugar from Connor's diet. After a horrific ELEVEN cavities last year, there were zero new ones this year!
3) I got a wee promotion and raise yesterday. It's just based on time in grade and not from some fabulous thing I did, but still, yay!

3. Has anyone done any good deeds for you lately? Care to share? My parents have been such a big help with JJ. While my dad was home, the two of them spent a lot of time together, which gave me time to get a lot of stuff done around my apartment.

I didn't have time to clean up the kitchen before I left and said something about being frustrated about it, so H cleaned the kitchen while I was gone.
